Editor-in-Chief: Parviz A Shamlou (Indianapolis, USA) supported by an international editorial board, with editorial offices in the UK and USA
Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry publishes original research papers, reviews and minireviews in biotechnology, with a focus on diagnostics, therapeutics and human healthcare.
Full papers are published online as Immediate Publications in PDF format as soon as they are accepted.
This month's issue (Volume 55, Part 1) is now available online.
The Versions of Record of articles to appear in future issues are also available.
A highlight of this issue is a Review article by Jeffrey Cole and colleagues (University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K.), who discuss common approaches used to solve problems associated with protein folding and post-translational modification that result in recombinant microbial protein deposition in cytoplasmic inclusion bodies, and suggest a generic approach to process design in order to minimize stress on the host microorganism and a strategy for isolating improved hosts.
